Bill Piva

Bill is a lifelong resident of Jamestown with a career path rich in serving his community. He is a retired Jamestown Police Sergeant and former Director of Jamestown’s Park and Recreation Department. His leadership contributions do not stop there though. Many people know him from his time on the field as North Kingstown High School’s football coach or in his role as a high school basketball official.

Bill acquired his real estate license and joined another company before joining the RI Real Estate Services team. His previous work experiences provided a natural segue way to his new career. Some of the skillsets he has honed over the years make him an invaluable asset whether you are looking to buy or sell. Bill brings attention to detail, a calm demeanor in stressful situations, negotiating expertise and exceptional service to every client he has an opportunity to work with. ill is a veteran of the U.S. Army and Rhode Island Army National Guard earned a master’s degree in the Administration of Justice from Salve Regina University, and earned a master’s in public administration from the University of Rhode Island.

Bill was elected to the Jamestown Town Council in 2018 and served until 2020. He was recently appointed to the Newport County Board of Realtors Board of Directors and was elected as President to the Jamestown Chamber of Commerce. He has also served on the Jamestown Affordable Housing Committee and is currently Vice-Commander of the Arnold-Zweir Post 22 of the American Legion.
